Show Me Service Awards
The Show Me Service Awards highlight the service and volunteerism that Missourians provide to strengthen communities and improve quality of life. To provide a diverse group of awardees each year, the awards are presented by region and include age-specific awards, national service awards, business awards, and community awards.

Nomination Categories
Do you know a Missouri volunteer that embodies the power of service? Nominate them for a Show Me Service Award! A list of nomination categories is shown on the right. Reference the map below for a breakdown of regions.
volunteer of the year
The volunteer of the year award has three categories based on age group: youth (under 18), adult (18-54), and senior (55+). An awardee for the three age groups will be selected from each region.
Americorps awards
The AmeriCorp awards are split into two categories: AmeriCorps member of the year and senior AmeriCorps member of the year. An awardee for the two categories will be selected from each region.
community of the year
Presented to a community (municipality or county), nonprofit organization, or collaborative group of individuals that has come together on a specific service project or ongoing activity.
Business of the year
Presented to a for-profit business that has provided opportunities for its employees/volunteers to serve in the community.
